beer in the style of English India Pale Ale, top-fermented, brewed from four varieties of malted barley using traditional methods, strongly hopped. Has a balanced flavour and aroma of hops and barley, with a distinctive, but not overpowering bitterness. Matures for four weeks. Cold-hopped. Serve at 12°C. India Pale Ale used to be brewed in the British Isles with large amount of hops which preserved the beer during its journey to India. Hence the name.
